Sequel to blockbuster "Ghayal"
Written and directed by Sunny Deol
Set to release worldwide on 5th Feb 2016.
As a huge Bollywood fan, I've been eagerly anticipating Ghayal Once Again, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Sunny Deol is back in his element as Ajay Mehra, and the action sequences are just as power-packed as I'd hoped. The film truly delivers on the promise of a thrilling action-drama.
What really surprised me, in the best possible way, was the subtle yet serious mention of a friend receiving treatment for anorexia nervosa. In a commercial Bollywood film, this kind of acknowledgement of a common but often hidden problem like eating disorders is incredibly refreshing and important. It shows a sensitivity that I deeply appreciate, and it's a step towards normalizing discussions around mental and physical health issues that are often swept under the rug.
And the music! Shankar Ehsaan Loy have outdone themselves. The soundtrack is fantastic and perfectly complements the film's mood and pace. I've had the songs on repeat since watching it. Overall, Ghayal Once Again is a must-watch for any Sunny Deol fan and anyone looking for a film that combines thrilling action with a touch of unexpected social awareness. Totally worth the smiles! More Background on GhayalOnceAgainMovie.com
GhayalOnceAgainMovie.com served as the official digital hub for the Bollywood action drama "Ghayal Once Again." Launched to coincide with the highly-anticipated release of the 2016 film, the website aimed to inform, excite, and energize fans of Indian cinema—particularly those drawn by the enduring appeal of Sunny Deol and the legacy of the original blockbuster "Ghayal" (1990).
Origins, Creation, and Ownership
The website was conceived as an integrated promotional platform for "Ghayal Once Again," designed and maintained by the film’s marketing team and commissioned under the oversight of Vijayta Films, the production company owned by the Deol family. At the creative helm stood Sunny Deol, a Bollywood star with a prodigious fanbase, who not only starred in but also directed and co-wrote the film. The project carried the combined production signatures of Dharmendra (Sunny Deol’s father), one of Hindi cinema’s most respected actors, and Jayantilal Gada, representing PEN India Limited.
The site acted as a virtual extension of the film’s marketing campaign, seeking to reach audiences in India and the global South Asian diaspora with movie details, cast information, and promotional multimedia.
